About

The Team
The Genesee Rebels are an amateur baseball team that plays in the Southwest Division of the Land O' Lakes. The Rebels are located in the Town of Genesee and play their home games at Genesee Town Park. Games are played on Sundays during the months of May, June, July, and August with practices held on Thursday evenings. The Rebels draw their players from the local area and have alumni from the local high schools of Kettle Moraine, Waukesha West, Mukwonago, Greendale, and the homeschool baseball team. Players on the Rebels have also played at the collegiate level at Carroll University and Oklahoma University as well as the club programs at UW-Whitewater and UW-Milwaukee.

Home Field
Home games are played at 12:00pm and admission is free. There is a goodwill offering during the 5th inning when the Rebels "pass the hat" and ask for a suggested donation of $2 - $5 per fan. This offering goes towards payment of the umpires, game balls, equipment, and other costs associated with running the team.

Concessions
The Rebels offer concessions during home games and discourage carry-ins. The sales of food and drink during games are used to help keep the cost of running the program down. Rebels fans utilize the concession stands of opponents when the Rebels are on the road and hope that visiting fans would extend the same courtesy.

Thank You!
The Genesee Rebels would not be able to function without the support of the Town of Genesee Parks. The Rebels would like to thank everyone who works at the Town of Genesee Parks for their help and dedication to maintaining the field and helping with the overall function of the program.

Interested Players
Any baseball player over the age of 16 who is interested in playing with the Rebels should send an email with their information to geneseerebelsbaseball@gmail.com or contact the manager, Matt DeMarais, at mdemarai@gmail.com. Any interested player will be granted a tryout and given an honest assessment of their playing skills and fit with the program.

The Rebels hope to see you out at our games this summer! Go Rebels!
